Briana McAllen

Introducing Briana

Briana was born in Melbourne and started dancing at the age of 3 at her local dance school. She began training in Jazz and Musical Theatre at Patrick Studios, but soon realised that ballet was her passion. In 2014, Briana moved to the Jane Moore Academy of Ballet to focus on her classical ballet training, After one year with the academy, she auditioned for The Australian Ballet School and was accepted into Level 4 Full Time in 2015. Upon graduating in 2019, she was offered a contract with Queensland Ballet as a Jete Parker Young Artist from Li Cunxin himself.  

 

Repertoire Highlights 

• Aurora in ‘Aurora’s Wedding Act 3’ Sleeping Beauty – The Australian Ballet School Showcase. 
• Soloist girl in Balanchine’s Who Cares – The Australian Ballet School Showcase 

 

Did you know… 

Briana’s nickname in school was Briyoncé.  

After her ballet career is over, she would love to be a professional dancer on a cruise ship- exploring the world whilst still dancing in a variety of styles.
